International Queen Pageant 1990

The International Queen Pageabt began as an AIDS benefit in 1986. All proceeds for the $25 a seat affair go to the Toronoot PWA Foundation. The 1990 event drew about 500 people.

One might think a local event might not have the flash of larger events like Miss Gay USA or Miss Gay America and one would be wrong. The IQP was artfully staged, the costumes stunning, the choreography excellent, and the queens unbelieveably feminine and gorgeous. Judge for yourself.
