Yes, it's hard to believe it's been over twenty-four years since we started producing these getaway weekends! We're going all-out again to give you the best CDS event ever. Prices for 2010 are unchnaged from last year and are posted below.

In addition to all our regular activities, we're giving away another special prize over the weekend: a mink jacket! But, there's a catch. To be eligible for this special prize you must register before July 1, 2010.

Beauty And The Beach is held over the first weekend in November in beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Rehoboth is a GLBT-friendly resort town about 100 miles south of greater Philadelphia. The weather, even in November, is gorgeous. Typical temperatures during the day are in the high-60's.

There is plenty to do at Beauty And The Beach. We provide you activities within the confines of the hotel if you wish to stay in, but the town is wide open and welcoming to TG people of every stripe. Go out and shop to your heart's content, walk the boards, or visit many of the local bars and restuarants. You decide how to spend your time; we make it possible.

Our hotel is right on the boardwalk and the beach. Every room is a deluxe accommodation equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and Internet access. Most rooms have two queen-sized beds, while some have a single king. There are also meeting spaces for workshops and vendors. All of the services and facilities are located under one roof so there's never a need to go outside. If you do, however, you'll find that you're just one block from the beautiful downtown shopping district. Want to stroll the boardwalk? It's right outside the dining room, and the beach is just beyond that! By the way, the weather in Rehoboth in late October - early November is in the high 60s to low-70s.

The vendors at BATB are special because we've chosen them for you based on their ability to provide you with goods and services of exceptional value. Returning this year are: Amanda Richards for makeup; Donna Miller for hair styling and nail services, and Glamour Boutique.

Oh, I forgot to tell you about the food! It is incredible. Every meal is a masterpiece and the desserts are to die for. This is not your typical convention center rubber-chicken meal. The food preparation and presentation are truly exceptional. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know ahead of time. The CDS Beauty And The Beach Weekend is produced by me, JoAnn Roberts and a host of my friends. We have made every effort to create an event that will be a memorable experience for everyone involved. The weekend is designed to give you an opportunity to live out your fantasies. Dress to your heart's content. Bring your entire wardrobe! The people you'll meet here are some of the nicest you'll ever meet anywhere. They come from different backgrounds, but they all share the same desire: to get away and let "her" roam free. We also encourage and welcome couples to attend and we usually get a large group of them at the weekend. If your partner wonders "Are there other women who deal with this?" then here's where she'll meet them. This is a great place to get to know your partner better.

You have a choice of a Wednesday or a Thursday afternoon arrival. Check-in starts at 4:00 pm each day. Whichever you choose, your package includes a welcome reception, 3 parties, 4 workshops, all meals, lodging, taxes and gratuity. No one else puts a package together like this.

This year our rates are the same as last year and everyone has a balcony overlooking the ocean!

The 2010 rates are as follows:

• Double Occupancy (You share a room with a roommate)
  • Wed thru Sun: $760 per person, $860 after July 1, 2009
  • Thurs thru Sun: $580 per person, $680 after July 1, 2009

• Single Occupancy (You're in the room by yourself)
  • Wed thru Sun: $980, $1080 after July 1, 2009
  • Thurs thru Sun: $805, $905 after July 1, 2009

Everything except your bar and vendor services are included in the prices above - all activities, seminars, room, 3 meals a day, tax and gratuity. A $300 deposit (refundable) will hold your reservation. Make checks and money orders payable to CDS and mail with the downloadable Registration Form. We can also accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and Discover for telephone or mail-in forms. Include card number, expiration date and the CVV code with the registration. Due to security restrictions we can no longer take credit card info over the Net by email.

PLEASE NOTE: Delaware is a NO SMOKING state. There is no smoking inside the facility ANYWHERE! However, every room has a balcony where smoking is allowed and the restaurant/bar is adjacent to the boardwalk.

Cancellations & Refunds - Read Carefully!

Deposit: A $300 deposit per person is required to make a reservation. Full payment is due by September 10, 2010.

Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations prior to September 10, 2010 will receive a full 100% refund. Cancellations from September 11, 2010 to October 15, 2010 will receive a refund of any monies paid less a $150 service fee.

No refunds for cancellations after October 15, 2010 as we will have to pay for the room and meals anyway.
